A custom buddy should feel personal without being careless with someone’s identity. It starts with permission, a few good photos and a clear promise about what happens next.
How do I order a custom buddy?
- Be an Annual or Lifetime member. Custom requests come with those two plans only: one open request at a time, and at most one a day.
- Choose three to five clear photos: front, three-quarter, side and one natural smile. Send only photos you are allowed to share, of yourself or of an adult who has agreed.
- Describe the personality and pick up to three signature activities, so the buddy moves like the person you have in mind.
- We read your request and set a price, shown in your library. Sending a request costs nothing; you pay the price up front, and work starts only once you do.
- We aim to deliver within 72 hours of payment. If we need more time, we tell you and ask for it. If we still can’t deliver, we refund your payment in full.
- Approve the first look in your library, or ask for a small tweak, which is free. Bigger changes, such as new colors, costumes or accessories, are priced separately.
- Your buddy arrives in your library: a stylized 3D character, not an exact match of anyone’s face.
A likeness is more than a face
The details people recognize may be a hairstyle, glasses, a favorite outfit or the way someone smiles. A good request captures those along with the personality and three favorite activities. The goal is a warm cartoon character, not a photo-real copy or a way to pretend to be someone.
Photos with permission
Please send only photos you are allowed to share. An adult friend or family member needs to know and agree that their likeness will be used. We don’t make buddies of children. Characters of well-known people for the store need that person’s written agreement first.

Custom buddy requests come with the Annual and Lifetime plans, one at a time. We read your request and set a price; work starts once you pay it, and we aim to deliver within 72 hours of payment. If we need more time, we tell you and ask for it. If we still can’t deliver, we refund your payment in full.
What happens after you send it
Your request and photos are kept private; only our team can see them. You follow each step in your library, from request received to price, first look and delivery, and you can approve the first look or ask for a small tweak there. We delete your photos 30 days after we deliver your buddy. If a request is declined, cancelled or refunded, we delete its photos within 30 days.
