How much does My Dock Buddies cost?

Every available buddy is a one-time $4.99 / ₹479 unlock, and that is the whole price. There is no membership to buy: the Mac app is a free download, and the buddies are the paid part. Buy a buddy and you keep it — nothing renews, nothing expires and there is nothing to cancel. Prices are quoted in US dollars and Indian rupees; any tax is added at checkout, and all sales are final.

Catalog: Max and Avery are available now, each $4.99 once. Juno and Aadi are coming soon; locked previews cannot be added to a cart or charged.

How much does My Dock Buddies cost?

Every available buddy is a one-time $4.99 / ₹479 unlock, and that is the whole price. The Mac app is a free download; the buddies are the paid part. Is there a subscription?

Not today. Memberships are coming soon. Today every buddy is a one-time purchase and yours to keep. Memberships are planned — Monthly at $5 / ₹480 a month, Annual at $20 / ₹1,920 a year and Lifetime at $50 / ₹4,800 once — and you can see them on the pricing page, marked coming soon. That pricing is planned, not for sale, and may change before launch. Every membership will include every buddy, the ones out now and every new one: while you stay subscribed on Monthly and Annual, and for good on Lifetime. Any buddy you buy now stays yours when memberships arrive.

Can I pay in Indian rupees?

Yes. Choose ₹ IND in the site header and every price, your cart and the payment page switch to rupees: a buddy is ₹479. Choose $ US for US dollars. The currency is fixed when you start checkout, so what you were quoted is what you pay. Custom buddy requests and gifts are quoted in US dollars only.

Can I add more characters later?

Yes. Every additional available buddy is the same one-time $4.99 / ₹479 unlock, bought whenever you like. There is no recurring charge of any kind, and the buddies you own stay in your library for good.

How does checkout work?

You pay on a secure checkout page run by our payment partner. It handles the payment, adds any tax and sends your receipt. Your buddies appear in your library as soon as the payment goes through, usually within seconds, and in the Mac app at its next check-in, or straight away with Refresh purchases.

Can I use a coupon code?

Yes, you can enter a coupon code at checkout.

Can I get a refund?

No, all sales are final, including for a change of mind. We always put right a double charge, a wrong amount or something you paid for that never unlocked, if you tell us within 14 days of the charge. If we can’t deliver a custom buddy, we refund that payment in full.

Can I cancel?

There is nothing to cancel. Buddies are bought once, not subscribed to, so you are never charged again and your buddies do not expire. If memberships ship later, they will be cancellable from your library at any time.

Do my buddies ever stop working?

No. You bought them outright, so they stay in your library and keep working, with every new activity we add to them included at no extra cost.

How much does a custom buddy cost?

Each custom buddy is priced individually, and sending a request costs nothing. We put a price in your library before any work starts; you pay it up front, and we aim to deliver within 72 hours of payment. Small tweaks after the first look are free; bigger changes such as new colors, outfits or accessories are priced separately.

What does buying a coffee include?

It is an optional thank-you that helps us make new characters and activities. It is not a character purchase or charity donation, and it does not unlock anything, change delivery priority or add to a custom order. You choose the amount, from $1.
