Where each buddy stands

• Max, the builder. Available to choose now. Max’s 3D build has 37 activities, 33 props and 8 moods, and keeps learning more.
• Avery, the thinker. Available to choose now. Avery’s 3D build has 39 activities, 38 props and 8 moods, and keeps learning more.
• Juno, the desktop salvager. Juno joins next, once his tool kit and a couple of build details are finished.
• Aadi, the kite runner. Aadi joins after Juno, once his kite, movement and details are ready.

Why there are no dates

We plan in release order, not on a calendar. A buddy joins when their 3D build is finished properly: the face, hands, props, activities and moods all have to hold up when the character is tiny on your desktop, and some of that work takes longer than we expect. A date we later have to move helps nobody, so we share the order the work happens in and send an email when a buddy unlocks. Until then, a locked buddy can’t be added to a cart or charged.

The Mac app: released

Done: released on 14 September 2026. The Mac app runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later, as one universal app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Members with an active Monthly, Annual or Lifetime plan sign in on this website, get the Mac app and sign in to it with the same email; the buddies they own download into it. It updates itself in the background.

Stress busters: Dumpling Dock

Coming in the next few weeks. Alongside the buddies we are making a few small Mac toys for when work gets heavy. The first is Dumpling Dock: its Dock icon is a soft 3D dumpling that squishes and wobbles when you click it, then settles back. It is a separate little app from the makers of My Dock Buddies, not a buddy and not part of a plan, and we will share the details when it is ready. See every stress buster.
