Is there a My Dock Buddies subscription? What it costs today
Short answer: there is nothing to subscribe to. Every buddy is a one-time purchase of $4.99 / ₹479, bought outright and yours to keep — nothing renews, nothing expires and there is nothing to cancel. Memberships are coming, and you can see their planned prices below; each one will include every buddy.

Is there a subscription?
Not today. Memberships are coming soon. Today every buddy is a one-time purchase and yours to keep. You buy the buddies you want and that is the end of it: no renewal date, no card on file to worry about, nothing to cancel. The Mac app itself is a free download for anyone — the buddies are the paid part.
What does a buddy cost?
Every available buddy is $4.99 / ₹479, once. Choose $ US or ₹ IND in the site header and every price on the site, your cart and the payment page switch to that currency; the currency is fixed when checkout starts, so what you were quoted is what you pay. Juno, coming next, and Aadi, who follows him, are locked until they are finished and cannot be bought. The price that applies is always shown before checkout.
What will the memberships add?
They are planned as three: Monthly at $5 / ₹480, the smallest way to try things; Annual at $20 / ₹1,920, which works out cheaper than paying monthly and adds custom buddy requests; and Lifetime at $50 / ₹4,800, one payment that never renews, also with custom buddy requests. That pricing is planned rather than fixed and may change before launch. What each will include: every buddy, the ones out now and every new one, while you stay subscribed on Monthly and Annual and for good on Lifetime. Buying a buddy on its own stays possible, and a buddy you buy is yours to keep.
If I buy a buddy now, do I lose it when memberships arrive?
No. A buddy you have bought is yours outright, and that does not change when memberships ship. It stays in your library, keeps working, and keeps getting every new activity we add to it at no extra cost. Buying now costs you nothing later.
Can I pay in Indian rupees?
Yes. Pick ₹ IND in the site header and you are quoted and charged in rupees: a buddy is ₹479. Pick $ US for US dollars. Custom buddy requests and coffees are quoted in US dollars only, because those are priced per request rather than from a list.
Can I use a coupon code?
Yes. If you have a coupon code, enter it on the secure checkout page. Our payment partner runs that page: it takes the payment, adds any tax and sends your receipt. Your buddies appear in your library as soon as the payment goes through, usually within seconds.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final. Buddy unlocks, custom buddies and coffees are not refunded once paid, including for a change of mind. We always put billing mistakes right: if you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or something you paid for never unlocked, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we unlock it or return the extra charge. If we can’t deliver a custom buddy, we refund that payment in full. The refund policy and the terms have the details, and the help page answers most other questions.
